Gökçeyurt Village Life Center in Ankara was opened for service to citizens in a ceremony attended by Deputy Minister of National Education Petek Aşkar.

Petek Aşkar, Deputy Minister of National Education, in his speech at the opening ceremony of the Gökçeyurt Village Life Center, said that they act with the principle of equal opportunities in education , as pointed out by the Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer, and that they carry out many studies in this context.

Summarizing the work they have started for the dissemination of preschool education, Aşkar said, “1,710 kindergartens have been opened in one year, this number will reach 3 and probably exceed 3. We have opened 14,000 classes main. With these numbers, we have reached more than the number of kindergartens opened in the Republic of Turkey so far. ” he said.

Stating that the enrollment rate at the age of five has reached 78% from 93%, Aşkar said that they are trying to increase this rate to 100%.

Aşkar pointed out that kindergarten classes have been opened in 1,800 villages, and thus about 20,000 children have received education, and said that with the 10,000 basic education schools project, they have improved the environment. physics to schools in need and also provided free textbooks. as additional reference books for students.

Sharing details of their work on Village Life Centers, Aşkar said:

“We started this project two months ago. First, we said, let’s make an example in one province. But it was such an excitement, such an effort that I think we will hit 2 by the end of October. We won’t have a village school closed until the end of the year.

Emphasizing the importance of the project, Aşkar said, “For adult classes as a public education center, a kindergarten or primary school is opened when needed. We have created this in a structure closely linked to nature and science. Village Life Centers; A social environment where adults, parents, grandmothers, grandparents and grandparents are with our young children, it has become an environment of conviviality, learning and sharing together, and this has created a much bigger impact than we thought. made his assessment.

Deputy Minister Aşkar said that a beekeeping course will be given at Gökçeyurt Village Life Center in the first place and wished the center to be beneficial.
