The Ankara Metropolitan Municipality continues its efforts to make Ankara the capital of green, without slowing down. Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş announced the good news that they will reunite the inhabitants of the capital with a new green space with his social media accounts. “We will open the Gökay Street Park, which we built on an area of ​​41,600 square meters in Eryaman, in June,” Yavaş said.

By bringing together green spaces such as the Çubuk-1 Dam Recreation Area, 30 August Zafer Park and Gazi Park with the citizens of the capital, the Metropolitan Municipality has accelerated the construction of new recreation areas and parks in all the city.

ABB, which has implemented projects that will turn the capital city from being called the Gray City into a Green City day by day, now plans to complete the construction of Gökay Street Park in Eryaman in a short period of time.

ERYAMAN GETS 41 THOUSAND 600 SQUARE METERS OF NEW GREEN AREA

Work on Gökay Street Park, which started on an area of ​​41,600 square meters in Eryaman District of Etimesgut District, has been completed.

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş announced on his social media accounts that he is preparing to open the park, which includes basketball and volleyball courts, a walking area for dogs, a children’s play area, an adventure cycle track, a cycle track, a walking path, fitness areas, skateboard track, rest and seating areas. “We said that Ankara will also be the capital of green. To this end, we are continuing our work. We will open Gökay Street Park, which we built on an area of ​​41,600 square meters in Eryaman, in June,” he said.

With a view to a green city, ABB will open many leisure spaces and parks where the citizens of the Capital will be able to breathe, play sports, spend pleasant moments with their families and be in contact with nature until the end 2022.
