The planes will be delivered in 2024

According to BMH Aviation’s press release, the delivery of the aircraft that will be produced in Ankara under the agreement will begin in the first quarter of 2024. With the resumption of production of the SJ6i, which has a capacity of 8 to 4 seats and With a range of 630 km, the jet, compatible with developing markets, will be sold worldwide. Our country, which has increased its design and production capacities in the field of defense and aerospace in recent years, will thus become the decisive player in the dynamics of the sector in the field of business jets.

The agreement has spawned multiple business partnerships between the two countries

The decision to manufacture the SJ30i aircraft, which has the ability to fly faster and higher than other jets in its class, in Turkey brings many business partnerships under the deal. SJA Turkey will work with OSSA, the aerospace cluster of Ostim, which is the production project partner for the production and design of the aircraft. SJA Turkey will also cooperate with Ostim Technical University on R&D. Honeywell will supply the Sybervision avionics team, while Williams Engines will collaborate in the United States to produce the engines for the private jet.
